Thursday was a big day for Brady. We started the day off by registering him for kindergarten!!!! I seriously can’t believe he’s starting kindergarten in the fall. On our way there he was a little nervous and wasn’t sure about this whole “big” school stuff. But once we got there and got to talking to a few people, he quickly warmed up and did great. In fact, he’s excited about going to kindergarten now. Me on the other hand, I was struggling to not cry. I don’t know why I have to be so sensitive about everything, especially when it comes to my kids, but I am. I know he’s going to be fine and do fine, it’s just a big change and change is always hard for me. But I held it together and enjoyed getting to visit with a few of my former co-workers/friends. Brady was excited that his Aunt Kayla came over to visit with him before we left.
Thursday night, Brady had his first tee ball scrimmage. I’ll be honest, we didn’t have very high expectations of his t-ball abilities. If you remember, soccer didn’t go so great. He just wanted to hang out with his coaches the whole time. Well, to our dismay, he actually tried last night and did a pretty good job. He hit the ball, ran fast, and wanted to get the ball on defense. His little team did good and I’m so proud that Brady had fun.
His first ever at-bat.
After the game was over, the Six Sweet Seals took the field. I didn’t think I was ever going to get them to leave.
Even though I get a little sad that my babies are growing up so quickly, I have to say, I’m excited about this season of our lives. I see lots of fun memories being made at the ballparks. ⚾️
