Quints: Meet the Teacher

Last night, we took Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, and Rayleigh to meet their new teachers. They will be attending the same Preschool this year and are moving up to the 3 year old class (also known as The Redbird class). Their teachers this year will be Ms. Kay & Ms. Holly.

They were very excited about going to school. Gracie has been asking all summer to go to school and the others are starting to ask to go to school now too. I think we’re all a little tired of each other. My mom took Brady to a volleyball game so it was just Steven, me, and the quints. When we arrived at school, they had to stop by the Yellowbird class and say hello to their previous teacher, Ms. Ellen. She is such a sweet lady and did a fabulous job with them last year, it warmed my heart to see them give her a hug. Then we headed down to the Redbird class. There are 13 students in the class so we make up almost half of the class. We found their chairs and they sat and played with Playdoh while Ms. Kay talked to the parents. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the quints acted. They sat the whole time, played, and never said a word. #proudmommoment

I did chuckle when Ms. Kay talked about discipline aka “The Thinking Chair”. Brady James Seals found himself in the thinking chair almost every day for the first 2 weeks of Pre-K3. I was so embarrassed I almost pulled him out of preschool because I didn’t think he was ready, but I’m so glad I waited and hung with it because he did catch on and he did well.

I’m excited about this year for the quints. We absolutely love Ms. Kay and Ms. Holly. I know my babies are going to be taken care of, learn so much, and most of all be loved.

We were so excited to see Hadley at Meet the Teacher.

Ms. Kay & Ms. Holly literally have their hands full this year with all these little Seals. I’m sure they’d appreciate your prayers!
