Last night Steven and I took Brady to meet his kindergarten teacher. He will be in Mrs. Stewart’s kindergarten class this year. He is excited about kindergarten and I’m so thankful about that.

He’s excited about his yellow locker.
Brady and Coby are going to be classmates this year.
He is really excited about this school year and that eases my heart. It’s no secret that this new phase has been tough for me to accept. I can’t believe it’s already time for him to start “real” school. I have no doubts that he will do well. The first couple of weeks will probably be tough on him, just adjusting to a new schedule of being at school all day, 5 days a week, but he’ll catch on. And we couldn’t be more excited about him being in Mrs. Stewart’s class. She has been friends with my mom for forever, I have known her my whole life, I babysat her kids when they were young, and I worked with her for 5 years before I had the quints. She stayed at the hospital the whole day that I was in labor with Brady so she has loved him his whole life. And I think the most special thing, in this situation, is that Mrs. Stewart was Steven’s kindergarten teacher! So Brady is her second generation Seals boy to teach! I know he is going to be safe, learn so much, but most of all, I know he will be loved while he is in her care, and for me, that’s the absolute most important trait I could ask for from his teacher.
So, ready or not, come Monday morning, my baby boy is off to Kindergarten!
And summer will officially be over!
