Thanksgiving 2017

Welcome back everyone. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a nice week with our family and loved ones, but unfortunately, at some point during the week, one or more of us was sick. I caught the stomach virus early Tuesday morning and was out of commission for the whole day. Steven had to leave work and come home to take care of the kids because I never got out of bed. My whole body hurt, it was miserable. Thankfully I was better by Wednesday and we were able to have our family over for our Thanksgiving get together. We had so much fun eating Mexican food and playing Scream-O.

Thursday we had lunch at my moms. We enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal and it was super yummy. After that I decided to start decorating the house for Christmas. The kids helped me put up the tree and that was a real treat! (Insert lots of sarcasm in that statement.) We only broke 4 ornaments. I still haven't finished all my Christmas decorating, but it's getting there.

Friday was our football playoff game. Unfortunately our Cardinals didn’t win but they had a awesome season. My nephew, Gage, is a senior so it was sad to see him play his last football game as a Cardinal. 🏈

I loved this bust through sign, and if you can’t read it, it says, 26 players; 6 coaches; 1 ❤️beat.

Our captains, #14 Gage, #50 Alex, #3 Brooks, & #55 Cameron

I’m sure going to miss seeing all these guys on the field together.

This was a special moment between Gage and my sister, Kayla after the game. I know she is extremely proud of her baby boy.

Gage and Alex have played together since they were in elementary school.

Walking away from the game he loves for the last time. 🏈

As sad as it is to have watched Gage play his last football game, I know without a doubt that the best is yet to come for him. He’s an amazing kid and I’m so proud of him and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.

The kids loved the movie, Star. I’m so thankful my sisters and Janna took them to see it so I could clean my house.

It was a nice break having Brady home all week with us. It's hard to believe that Christmas is only a few weeks away. I hope you have a great week!

Be blessed,
