Our Home for the Holidays

I love seeing everyone else’s pictures of Christmas trees and decorations so today I’m going to take you on a tour of our house all decorated for Christmas. 🎄

Each child has a Christmas bear. We have one 2012 Christmas bear and five 2014 Christmas bears.
The mistletoes are from the quints’ first Christmas, Brady was 2 years old.

This Christmas tree reminded me of my childhood, I had to have one in my house.

This is my favorite Christmas picture of the kids. And I made the garland myself, in fact I just finished it yesterday. (Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get my decorating completed.)

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.

My mom made my stocking by hand and I wanted to continue that tradition with my kids. There’s a lot of work that goes into these stockings and it takes quite a while to make them; I never expected to have 5 kids at once, and I didn’t think I was going to get all the quints’ stockings made in time for for their first Christmas, thankfully my mom made 2 of them for me. These stockings are so special.

We have 2 Christmas trees, this one is in our dining room and is mostly decorated with ornaments made by the kids. I love it so much. The big Christmas lights remind me of my childhood. 🎄

Our big tree is in the living room. We have lots of wedding ornaments since Steven and I had a Christmas wedding. I also get an ornament from all our trips/vacations, so we have ornaments from several different places. All our ornaments are so special.

This is the kids homemade Christmas ornament for this year (made with their fingers). Thank you Tom for making these look so cute!

So far, the kids have only broken 6 ornaments. And for the most part they’ve left the decorations alone.

Well, there you have it. I love the house all decorated for Christmas. 🎄

I hope you all have a blessed Christmas weekend!
Be blessed,
