Memory Verse #10 & My Appointment with the Specialist

This weeks memory verse is from Philippians 4:19:

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Look at my sweeties! They all willingly took their picture this morning; everyone is looking & smiling!!! #winning

Friday, Steven and I went to Dallas to meet with a specialist concerning my health issues I’ve been experiencing since January. First off, I LOVED my doctor! He is a neurologist who specializes in MS (multiple sclerosis). He thoroughly looked through my charts and asked lots of questions. He went over all my MRI scans and discussed them with us. Then he did his own examination. He diagnosed me with post-infectious myelitis. Myelitis involves the infection or the inflammation of the white matter or gray matter of the spinal cord. Thankfully the steroids improved my symptoms tremendously and I am feeling much better now. My left hand is still numb but that is okay. The doctor said that spinal cord injuries can take a long time to heal and that it may be 8 months to a year before I’m completely healed. But I’m going to be okay and that’s all that matters to me! I’m so thankful for this good news. I’m going to start taking high doses of 2 vitamins and that’s it. He told me to exercise and get back to living my life. So that is what I’m going to do!

I know I keep saying this, but I really appreciate everyone who has been praying for me over the past two months. This year has not started like I was planning but one thing is for sure, I’m one very blessed girl. I’m so blessed to have so many people who are eager to pray for me whenever I need them. I’m so blessed to have a big supportive family/support system who will step in with little notice to take care of my babies. And I’m so very blessed to have such a loving and support hubby who takes care of all my needs. So again, to everyone who has prayed or helped us out in any way, THANK YOU!

I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Be blessed,
