This week’s memory verse is from Proverbs 31:28:
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
I hope all you mothers out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I know that Mother’s Day isn’t always a pleasant day for everyone. There are many people who’s hearts hurt on this particular day. And because of that, I always feel somewhat guilty, because I do still have my mom in my life, and I have been blessed with six beautiful children. Please know, to all of you who had a tough day yesterday, that I understand from the viewpoint of someone who struggled to become a mom. I understand how hard it is to put a smile on your face when all I wanted to do during that dark period in my life was stay in bed and sleep the day away. I heart still hurts for the babies I lost, even though I’ve been tremendously blessed with Brady, Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, and Rayleigh. On Mother’s Day, I always think of those babies I lost, and it makes my heart a little sad.
With all that being said, I did have a nice day with my family. We went to church and I ate out for lunch and dinner. More than anything, I was thankful to be with all the people I love most. It is my greatest privilege, honor, and blessing to be Brady, Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, and Rayleigh’s mama.
(For those of you who like for me to label who the kids are, the pictures from the top to bottom are in birth order: Brady, Mia (green), Tessa (purple), Brant, Gracie (pink), and Rayleigh (yellow).
I’m so thankful for my mama.
And a little throwback to my first Mother’s Day with my sweet little Brady.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
