Memory Verse #21 & Catching Up

This week’s memory verse is from Joshua 24:15:
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

I can’t believe we’re already in the 21st week of this year! May is almost over and that means the year is halfway over! And if you need more verification that the year is halfway over, just go to Hobby Lobby, they already have their fall decorations out! (By the way, I love Hobby Lobby, but I seriously think it’s so ridiculous to already have fall stuff out, it’s not even “technically” summer yet! {shaking my head}.)

I’m going to do a little catching up on this post since it’s been a while since I’ve updated. So here we go….

The quints are officially on summer break!!!! They had a wonderful year in Pre-K 3 and learned so much. Just today Gracie told me she missed Miss Kay and Miss Holly Boo. I’m so thankful for these two wonderful teachers!

Brady’s class had a field trip last week, and it was Brady’s first time to ever ride on a bus. He loved it and now wants to ride the bus home. He had a great time at the movies and the park.

Brady’s school put on an end of year play. He was a sailor. All of the kids were so cute and the program was wonderful. Brady had a big cheering section; the quints were his biggest fans.

After church Sunday, we took the kids to the lake and let them play in the water. They had the best time! Just look at those big smiles on their faces.

Well, this is about to happen…..and I’m not sure what I think about it… Sunday night was Gage’s Baccalaureate. On Friday he will graduate from High School. I’m so incredibly proud of him, it’s just so hard to believe he’s a few months away from leaving home and going off to college.

Today, while Brady was at school, the quints, Tom, and I ran errands. Of course we had to stop at Target and the quints had to get their picture taking with the Target dog.

And that’s about it…we’ve been super busy with lots of end of school programs. And our Cardinals are still in the baseball playoffs so I’ve been going to those games. I will be happy when this week is over and things start to slow down a bit.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Be blessed,
Michelle
