Hi! I’m Michelle! I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and christian. I write my blog so my friends and family can keep up with my crazy family. I was a teacher for 7.5 years, now I’m a stay-at-home mom. I have a son named Brady and I have girl-girl-boy-girl-girl quintuplets, Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, and Rayleigh.
Our Love Story
I am happily married to my best friend, Steven. We’ve known each other our whole lives. In fact, our moms were friends in high school. Steven was my very first boyfriend way back in 5th grade. That relationship only lasted about a year. During Junior High, he was so annoying! He made fun of me and gave me a hard time every chance he got (it was his way of flirting, I just thought he was annoying). During high school we were good friends and hung out in group settings. I always thought he was a good guy, but didn’t see him as anything except a friend. After high school, we both attended a local community college and would have lunch together every-once-in-a-while. After two years of community college I transferred to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and I didn’t see or hear from him much for the next few years. A year after I left for UNT he transferred to Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas. I graduated in 2003 and lived and worked in the Dallas area. He graduated in 2004 and moved back home and started working at the job where he currently works. In January 2005, he called me and asked me if I wanted to go out with him when I came home to visit my family. I said “sure” and a few weeks later, we were having dinner at Johnny Carino’s. I didn’t realize he didn’t care of Italian food and was choking down every bite, he was so happy when they finally brought out the chocolate cake for desert. We started talking on the phone on a daily basis and I started coming home on a regular basis to see him. I realized I was in love with him while we were at the lake one day. He was fishing and I was sunbathing on the front of the boat. He’s a country boy and I was “trying” to be a city girl, but I realized how comfortable I felt with him and everything about being with him seemed natural and we just fit together. On December 16, 2006, we were married. He is the most amazing man in the whole wide world. He’s such an awesome hubby, a wonderful best friend, and a loving and devoted daddy to our six babies. I am so blessed to spend my life being his wife.
