So over the weekend, the quints had a little stomach bug. Well, they were oh so sweet and shared it with me. Yesterday I didn’t leave my room once. Today, it hit Steven. Everyone except Brady has had the bug. And let me tell you, it’s no fun. Thankfully it only lasts 24 hours so today I felt much better and took the kids to the mall to play in the playground to let them run off some energy.
Have a great rest of the week!
Hey y’all! Hope you all had a restful and relaxing weekend. Steven and I were able to get away for a night and just relax and sleep. It was wonderful and I’ll post on that hopefully tomorrow. My family stepped in and took care of the kids for us. Of course, the kids love it when they get to go with family members so they were in hog heaven. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.
Please say a prayer for Mia, she is not feeling well at all. All of the kids have been under the weather the past few days, and she’s the worst.
Lunch at Roadhouse with the girls.
Brady found himself in Time Out this morning. After a few minutes he tells me that electricity is going to come in the house, come out this hole, and spray him…he’s got to get out of here. Needless to say, Time Out was over after that little Tall Tale.
Mia has slept almost all day today. 😦
So this is a new development….Gracie and Brant can now climb over our fences! We have fences around our living room to keep the quints contained to one, safe, area. But not anymore.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

So, it’s no secret that having 6 young kids making everything much more difficult. Over the Independence Day weekend, we took the kids to Dallas to visit our friends, Dave and Paula, and to have some fun. It was our first time to take the kids on an overnight adventure and we quickly figured out, one night was all we could handle. But I don’t think that should keep us from showing the world to our children. So, we decided to go on vacation with our loved ones, hence, Flat Seals. (Yes, I got this idea from Flat Stanley.) Our family members took pictures of the kids everywhere they went on vacation.
First up, my sister and brother-in-law, Kayla and Jeremy, took us to Las Vegas! They took us to the Venecian, Bobby Flay’s Burger Joint, and the Bellagio. Take a look at our fun Vegas trip!
Loaded on the plane and heading out to Vegas!

I’ll post on our next adventure very soon.
Hey y’all! Hope you’re having a great week! Here’s some sweet and funny pictures of the Six Sweet Seals.
Smile! And Be Blessed,
Hey y’all! Welcome back to my new and improved blog. I’d love to know what you all think about this big change…..
So, we had a busy weekend. On Friday, Steven and I took Mia and Rayleigh to the GI specialist in Dallas. We had a great time with just the two girls and it was so much easier doing everything with just them two. They got a good report, no changes, they both still have their g-tubes, but we are going to continue using the g-tubes less. Saturday, we cleaned out our garage. It was full of baby stuff that needed to be gotten rid of, so we gave some things away and I’m going to try to sell the rest of it at a consignment sell. Sunday after church, I took Brady and Gavin to the water park. They had a blast. And after church that evening we took the kids out to eat with my Nana & Pops. Today we went to Chick-fil-A to play in the play area (indoors) and went to see my grandmother.
Saturday we celebrated Gracie’s 2 year anniversary for being discharged from the NICU! I haven’t taken her out to do anything special, yet, but I will soon!
And because I love to start the week off with a quote, this one seemed perfect for today.
It has caused a lot of problems in this world,
But has not solved one yet.
I can’t think of a truer statement. Love more, my friends. In a world full of hate, choose love. Love conquers all!
Here’s some pictures of the Six Sweet Seals…..

Have a great week!
